Bethel is excited to be a new debt counselling centre, partnered with the charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP).  As a CAP centre we will provide services, advice and practical help for those in debt focusing on finding long term solutions for debt-free living.  The programme aims to help people to help themselves get out of debt and relieve the emotional turmoil financial pressures can bring.

Local Foodbank has now fed 96 Adults and 112 children

Between the Foodbank centres at Pontyclun, Gilfach Goch and Rhydfelin they have now fed 96 adults and 112 children with a 3 day food parcel.

If you don't know what Foodbank is about you need to pop over to pontyclunfoodbank.org.uk and find out what it's all about.

They are currently short of a few items, so next time you go shopping consider getting some extra items to donate to the Foodbank and drop it off at Bethel Baptist Church Centre.

They could do with some extra tinned meat, tinned rice pudding, tinned sponge pudding, tinned vegetables, pasta sauces and fruit juices.
