Children's Activities

Livewires
If your child is a 'live wire', they will enjoy our Live Wires programme! It runs every Sunday morning from 11.15 to 12.30. It has action packed fun for 3 to 14 year olds. The morning starts with registration, interactive play, arts and crafts.
At 11.30, we have a drama and Bible story. Following this we take a short break for refreshments, and then break into age related groups for the final session. This usually has quiz sheets, code breakers and related activities to the main story or drama. We have dedicated teams who work with the children each week. We would love to have your children join us.

Girls Brigade
Friday Evening
5 - 8 year old - Explorer section - 6:00pm - 7:15 pm
8 - 11 year old - Junior Section 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Founded in 1893 the Girls Brigade has become known worldwide as a fun, interesting, challenging and relevant provider of activities skills care and Christian love for young people. Typically an evening would have girls involved in craft activities and sports the Christian faith and principles run through the heart of the activities. Parents have said their girls cannot wait for Fridays to come around when they can come back to Brigade. Each year, during the half term of the school summer term, the two brigades go away for a weeks "camp" together.

Boys Brigade
Monday Evenings
5 - 11 year old - 6:00pm - 7:15pm
Boys Brigade is a uniformed Christian youth organisation who's aim is to care for and challenge young people through informal education, games and lots of fun underpinned by the Christian faith. During a typical evening boys would normally participate in games, crafts and have a devotional time. There are the occasional trips out organised for the evenings. Boys Brigade is a national organisation structured regionally (called a battalion) and we participate in events organised within our region.

11- 14's group
Thursday evenings: 6:30pm - 8:00pm
This group is run for both boys and girls and forms a bridge between them leaving Boys or Girls Brigade and joining TNT. The evening is run along similar lines to the Brigade nights with games, competitions, quizzes, crafts and a devotional time. Occasional trips out are organised such a swimming, bowling and ice skating.
