New Debt-Counselling Centre

Bethel is excited to be a new debt counselling centre, partnered with the charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP).  As a CAP centre we will provide services, advice and practical help for those in debt focusing on finding long term solutions for debt-free living.  The programme aims to help people to help themselves get out of debt and relieve the emotional turmoil financial pressures can bring. 

Our CAP Cetre is managed by Alan Watt who offers debt coaching and works with a team of volunteers to offer friendly and personal support to those who are in debt and want support. CAPs’ unique approach means you are assisted all the way as you take steps to get out of debt.

If you are struggling with financial problems and want help, then your first step is to contact CAPs’ Freephone number 0800 328 0006 where they will book an initial appoitnment for you to meet with Alan. He will then call you back to discuss the way forward confidentially.

Thousands of people with debt difficulties have already been released from the pressure of debt through CAP’s unique combination of advice,financial education, budgeting and practical support and help.

CAP’s services are FREE and open to anyone.

The Bethel CAP centre covers those living in postcode area CF31/CF35/CF38 and CF72.  Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a national debt counselling charity based in Bradford working through a network of 190 centres based in local churches.
