HOW CAN I BECOME A CHRISTIAN?
What does the Bible say?

The Bible says that Jesus was and is God’s one and only son. Do you believe this?
‘A voice came from Heaven: “YOU ARE MY SON, WHOM I LOVE; WITH YOU I AM WELL PLEASED.”
The Bible says that God loves everyone and he wants a relationship with you and me. Do you believe that really includes you? Because of his love for you and wanting a relationship with you, he sent his one and only son Jesus?
‘FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.’
The Bible says that all of us have done things wrong, the Bible calls this ‘sin’, and because of our ‘sin’ ,this is a barrier between us and God, it spoils our relationship with God , and this is the incredible reason Jesus his one and only son came, to die, to pay the price for all our ‘sin’ on the cross.

“THIS MAN (JESUS) WAS HANDED OVER TO YOU BY GOD’S DELIBERATE PLAN AND FOREKNOWLEDGE; AND YOU ,WITH THE HELP OF WICKED MEN, PUT HIM TO DEATH BY NAILING HIM TO THE CROSS..”
The Bible says that 3 days later after his death, Jesus rose from the grave. Do you believe this?
“BUT GOD RAISED HIM (JESUS) FROM FROM THE DEAD, FREEING HIM FROM THE AGONY OF DEATH, BECAUSE IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR DEATH TO KEEP ITS HOLD ON HIM.”
The Bible says there’s more. God wants our relationship to grow, and he wants you and I at the end of our days here on earth to enjoy the gift of heaven, to be with him.
“MY FATHERS HOUSE HAS MANY ROOMS; IF IT WERE NOT SO, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT I AM GOING THERE TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU..”

If the answer is yes, do you want a real relationship with God?
I’m guessing your wondering as I did that there has to be more to it than this? Well yes there is, we have to acknowledge before God our sin, and we do this by praying, so let’s start to put things right, let’s pray…
Heavenly Father , I thank you that you gave your one and only son Jesus as a sacrifice for all my sin. Please forgive me for all my sin. Father God I want a real relationship with you, so I ask you please will you come and live within me, I invite you now. And please help me to live for you from now on, for the rest of my life. Amen.
CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve become a Christian.
How can I be sure?
The Bible says -
“IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL FORGIVE OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”
The Bible also says this about you now -
‘SEE WHAT GREAT LOVE THE FATHER HAS LAVISHED ON US, THAT WE SHOULD BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD ! AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE!…’
NOW WHAT?
Find a good church , that will help you grow in your faith and how to pray and understand the Bible. A church should be welcoming . Go and try a few out, make sure that they teach from the Bible, see if they have Life Groups you could join so you can make friends and grow.
‘JESUS REPLIED. “ANYONE WHO LOVES ME WILL OBEY MY TEACHING. MY FATHER WILL LOVE THEM, AND WILL COME TO THEM AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH THEM.”
And so your journey and adventure begins, remember you are not alone the God of heaven has now made his home in you. God Bless you.
